Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. She has also starred in series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the sole daughter of a United Auto Workers executive and his wife, who was a household worker. Her childhood was spent in a family with four other brothers. When she was a kid she longed to be an official in the courtroom. After graduating from high school, and moving into New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. Her first job as an actor was as a young girl in the show All My Children. Delaney an actress in her early years in the 80s, has been featured in numerous TV shows and dramas. Her career hasn't been successful or happy personal life. Her personal life has been a mess. She's had two unsuccessful marriages and struggled with alcohol addiction. She was divorced in 2005 and lost custody of the sole child that she had.
